The cybersecurity headache never goes away for governments, companies, and individuals.

Ransomware, phishing schemes, supply chain, and critical national infrastructure attacks are never far from the news.

2024 is bringing multiple challenges: organizations having to come to terms with the threat of AI-led cyberattacks; dozens of national elections around the world, including in the US, facing cyber disruption; continued geopolitical cyber fallout from the Russia-Ukraine conflict; and in July and August, the Paris Olympic Games, which will be a magnet for cyberattacks.

There is the risk of continued state-sponsored cyberattacks on critical national infrastructure and, in the business world, socially engineered phishing attacks targeting employees. The progress being made by organizations towards adopting a zero-trust architecture is a rare bright spot in a difficult cyber landscape.
